Environmental FirstSearch was the innovator of real estate related online environmental information reports in the 1990s. We grew with the evolution of environmental regulations, computer technology, Geographic Information systems and online technology. We have been actively involved with industry associations, trade groups, government agency relations and evolving markets. Data Integrity
Our national database of government records identifying properties with environmental concerns has developed and matured over a period of several decades. It can truly be considered both current and historical. Many of the data sets in our database are no longer available because either the agencies no longer exist or the related environmental programs have been replaced or discontinued. We are one of the few environmental information companies that can honestly say we have this historic information (ex: old cleanup, UST & landfill lists) available. That is why both private sector and many public sector government agencies use TIS - Environmental FirstSearch as their source for data.
